Walgreens and Safeway

My trip to Wags and Safeway this morning was very successful. Hooray for Fabian who never even questioned the Soft Scrub coupon but just put it through! I bought a few more things there than I had planned (I know it's not good to do that, but I used coupons, so that makes it okay). :) They had Lays chips on sale, so I bought a bag (we go through chips like nobody's business), I found the very small packages of Fig Newtons for $1.50 each and I had a $1 off coupon, and I snagged some Organix shampoo that had a "Try Me Free" hang tag on it for a mail-in rebate for the entire cost of the shampoo (which was $6.99)! Here's how the Wags scenario looked:

So for those 15 items, I spent $16.54 out of pocket. Now I will submit for the "Try Me Free" rebate and get $6.99 back which brings my total to $9.55! Whoopee! :)

Safeway

I wasn't able to get the juice last week because they were temporarily out of what I wanted. So we went this morning and were able to score some VERY cheap juice. Here's what the scenario looked like:
