New Tombstone Facebook Coupon

You can go here to print a coupon for $1.50/2 12" Tombstone Pizzas! The coupon will be available until 2/23, but it will likely run out of prints before then, so print it now while you can! The two copies I printed this morning expire on 3/18.

FREE Redbox Rental Code!

Apparently today (2/14) ONLY you can use code BEMINE at Redbox to score a FREE movie rental! Remember, in order to use it you need to touch the box in the lower left corner of the screen that says "Rent with Promo Code" and enter the code first before choosing your movie. Also, be sure to return the movie before 9 pm the next evening or you will be charged for a second night's rental. You can go here to browse the selection (pretty thin, in my opinion).

Happy (Frugal) Valentine's Day!

We never go all out for Valentine's Day. We never have. And that's okay with me. Our frugal selves would never allow it. This year (as with most years) we decided to make each other cards. I borrowed M's crayons and made a very homemade card for Nate. But this morning he said he loved it more than any storebought card. I also happened upon a little stuffed Snoopy that plays the Peanuts theme song while at Walgreens the other day (it was on clearance, of course) that I surprised him with this morning. We love keeping it simple and focusing on each other and not the externals. Maybe we can have a family candlelit dinner tonight and call it good.

$2 MP3 Credit at Amazon!

This one is a little different than the other promotions they've done. You can choose to send an album or song as a gift to someone else (I sent 2 songs to Nate) and at checkout use promo code VDAYMP3S which will take $2 off your total. I bought two individual songs in two separate orders, and I think it worked right. Each time it said my total was $0.99 and a promotion took off $0.99. You can go here to choose your song(s). I followed these instructions from Collin at Hip2Save to process my order:

1. You have to follow the directions on Amazon and give the MP3 as a gift.

2. Find the MP3 album or song you want to give. Click the “Give album or song as a gift” button (or the “Give song as a gift” button).

3. Follow the instructions to personalize your MP3 gift and click the “Proceed to Checkout” button. (If you do not currently have a credit card and billing address associated with your account, you will need to add them.)

4. On the checkout page, enter code VDAYMP3S in the box labeled “Have any gift cards, gift certificates, or promotional claim codes?” and click the “Apply” button. Your $2 credit will be added. If you receive an error, make sure you’ve entered the code correctly and that the promotion is still valid and has not expired.

5. After you’ve entered the code, click on the “Give song as a gift” button.

The girls and I did very well at Albertsons today! We braved the below-zero temps and scored some smokin' hot deals. :) Here's what we bought:

Used (2) $1/1 Kraft 2% American cheese and (2) doublers
Final cost: $0.50 each!

(1) Skippy peanut butter = $2.99

(1) Huggies travel pack wipes = $1.69

I got some hassle from the checker today and just called the store and spoke with the manager (Robert) who once again confirmed that they WILL double coupons that say "Do Not Double" on them. So if your checker tells you they won't do it, stand firm! :) I also asked him about the number of transactions we can do, and he said he was told to allow two transactions per day, but he stated to me that he personally didn't mind if a few more than that were done at the same time. But, their computers will only accept 3 doublers per transaction, so bear that in mind, too. Happy shopping!

Screamin' Buy With Me Deal!

UPDATE: Sold out :(
This has a lot of steps to it, but you'll end up with $30 of tea from California Tea House for FREE! BuyWithMe.com is offering a $10 credit to new and existing members.

So first, you'll want to go here and sign up for a new account (this is my personal referral link).

Then log out of your account.

Next, click here and log back in. This will give you the $10 credit. To be sure you were credited, click on "My Account" and then click on the grey "Credits + Referrals" tab. A $10 credit should show up in your account.

If you want to get the California Tea House deal (which also comes with FREE shipping), click here, choose Philadelphia as your city, then click on "More Deals". At the bottom of the list will be the California Tea House deal.

I just did this myself and was able to order the tea deal for FREE! I will get an email with the deal information tomorrow so I can use it right away (or I can wait, too, because it doesn't expire until 1/27/2012). California Tea House is rather spendy, so I won't be able to get a lot of tea with $30, but whatever I can get is great because it was FREE!
