Safeway: FREE Kids Reach Toothbrushes!

Safeway has kids Reach toothbrushes on sale for $1.99 this week (I haven't yet verified this price locally; I'm going this morning to check it out). There's also a Catalina:

Updated Walmart Coupon Policy!

Yay! Walmart has updated their coupon policy, and, for me at least, all the changes are positive. You can go here to view and print the new policy to keep in your coupon binder or purse. The best change is this one:

"Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase."

Hooray for overage! My Walmart has always given me such a hard time with overage, so I'm definitely printing this new policy and shopping with confidence from now on.

My trip to Safeway was smokin' hot! I think I kind of overwhelmed the cashier with the amount of coupons I had, but she did great and didn't make a fuss. :) Here's what I bought:

5 boxes of Betty Crocker fruit snacks = 5 x $0.99 = $4.95 - $0.50/2 coupon - $0.50/2 coupon - $0.50 double - $0.50 double = $2.95. Then I received a $3 catalina making it a $0.05 moneymaker! (I did this transaction twice and brought home a total of 10 boxes of fruit snacks.)

3 boxes of Cinnamon Burst Cheerios and 1 box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch = 4 x $1.49 = $5.96 - $0.75/1 Cheerios - $0.75/1 Cheerios - $0.75/1 Cheerios - $0.55/1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch - $0.25 double - $0.25 double - $ 0.25 double - $0.45 double = $1.96. Each box cost $0.49!

4 boxes of Quaker Oat Squares = 4 x $1.49 = $5.96 - $1/1 Quaker - $1/1 Quaker - $1/1 Quaker - $1/1 Quaker (2 of these were printables that are no longer available and 2 were from the newspaper that my mom sent me) = $1.96. Once again, each box cost only $0.49!

5 DiGiorno frozen pizzas = 5 x $4.49 = $22.45 - $5 off $15 frozen food purchase from Safeway ad - $1/1 DiGiorno - $1/1 DiGiorno - $1/1 DiGiorno - $1/1 DiGiorno - $1/1 DiGiorno (these all came from the Safeway frozen foods coupon booklet) = $12.45. Each pizza cost $2.49!

18-ct Lucerne eggs = $1.99.

4 Coca-Cola 12-packs and 2 bags of Snack Artist chips (buy 2 Coke 12-packs get 2 more and 2 bags of chips FREE sale) = 2 x $5.99 = $11.98 - $5.99 from FREE Coke 12-pack coupon (purchased with points on MyCokeRewards.com) - $1/1 any Coke product coupon (also from MyCokeRewards.com) = $4.99. Each item cost ONLY $0.83!

Coupon Craziness!

I'm a printing fool this morning :), and here's what I'm printing and why:

$0.50/2 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks and another link here - at Safeway this week, these are $0.99 each. Buy 5, use (2) $0.50/2 coupons, pay $2.95 and get a $3 catalina back! There was also another $0.50/2 coupon in the 2/13 GM.

$1/4 Old Orchard frozen juice concentrates and another link here - I'm saving these for doublers this weekend at Albertsons which should get me $0.50 grape juice!

$3/2 PediaCare Products - starting Sunday 3/6 at Walgreens there will be an in-ad coupon which, combined with this manufacturer's coupon will get me FREE PediaCare!

Safeway is also having a cereal sale (Cheerios, Cap'n Crunch, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Quaker Oatmeal Squares, Life, Golden Grahams) for $1.49 each wyb 4. There are lots of printable Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Golden Grahams coupons available here and here which will double making the cereal just $0.49 per box!

$1/2 Oscar Mayer Deli Creations - with doublers at Albertsons will make them FREE!
