The girls and I stopped by one of our small, church-run second-hand stores (The Red Door) this morning, and we found some great bargains. I was especially pleased to find the whole Anne of Green Gables series (yes, we still have a VCR; two of them, in fact!) plus the two "schoolish" books for M. The snowsuit (destined for my little nephew-to-be) is Baby Gap brand with the tags still attached, and the boots are originally from Land's End. I thought I was going to pay $10.75 for everything, but somehow they only charged me $5.25! M already loves playing with the "Biscuit" sticker book, and I'm ready to settle in with a bowl of popcorn and "Anne." Housework? What housework? :)
