Shopping Trip Highlights

So, I'm finally getting around to highlighting the best of what I bought on my shopping trip Monday night. I tried doing the evening shopping thing instead of dragging the girls out in sub-zero weather, but I'm really not a fan of being out at night. I think I'll remain a morning shopper for a while. I went to three stores (Walmart, Safeway, and Walgreens), and here's the best of the best:

WALGREENS:

Go! Kids Gummy Multivitamin: $5, then got a $5RR making them FREE!

Special K cereal: $2.50 each, buy 2 get $2RR - used BOGO coupon (it's a little complicated to get this one to print, so you can go here and read Collin's post at Hip2Save for clarification if needed), paid $2.50, then got a $2RR making them $0.25 each!

Frosted Mini-Wheats cereal: $2.50 each, buy 2 get $2RR - used $1/1 coupon (printed earlier, no longer available), paid $3.00, then got a $2RR making them $0.50 each!

Glade Room Spray: $0.99 with in-ad coupon - used $1/1 coupon from previous newspaper, totally FREE!

Reach toothbrushes: $2.99 each on clearance (what kind of clearance price is that, by the way?!?!) - used $2/2 coupon from here or here and used $2 off any Reach Total Care product in-ad coupon (took off $4), totally FREE! {Actually, the in-ad coupon beeped and wouldn't go through, but the cashier verified the products were correct and just adjusted the price to $0.99 each to make up for it.}

WALMART:

Maalox: $4.96 for 90-count bottle - used $5/1 any Maalox product from 1/9 SS, $0.04 moneymaker! :)

SAFEWAY:

Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks: $0.99 each wyb 4 or more - purchased 5 boxes, used 2 $0.50/2 Betty Crocker fruit snacks from 1/2 GM (could also use two from here), paid $2.95 (because the coupons were automatically doubled) and received a $3 catalina making them a $0.05 moneymaker! (You could just buy 4 boxes, use two coupons, and get a $2 catalina which would still make them better than FREE.)

Kellogg's Raisin Bran: $1.77 with in-ad coupon - used $0.70/1 coupon from coupons.com (not available anymore) which was rounded up to $1, paid $0.77!

Lucerne Half-Gallon Ice Cream: $2.99 - 50% off discount, paid $1.50! (I bought a few because we have some birthday parties coming up, plus we really like ice cream anyway.) :)
